FAQ's
Do you wholesale your products? Currently I do not sell to retailers or consigners. I only sell direct to consumer at in-person events. Stay tuned for online shopping Fall 2026.
Do you do custom work? I do not offer any custom work.
Do you do repairs/alterations? (aka "will you hem my jeans?"). I am not a repair shop & don't do repairs or modifications unless it is something I made. I stand by my work so if something goes awry (pop a snap, need a shorter strap etc) I am 100% willing to make it right/functional again. If it is a clothing item I made, modifications are not always possible depending on the construction. Please email me with details & we can go from there.
Do you teach classes or workshops? Not yet....but it's in the works for the near future. Add yourself to my email list to be notified.
Do you accept returns? Regular stock items are returnable for credit or refund within 14 days of purchase date. One of a kind items do not qualify for returns.
Why did you close Tbird Leather in 2024 & then open another similar handmade business with a new name 2 years later? Well.....fair question. For sake of brevity, I went thru an intense period of burnout & boredom with my leather shop, both of which I accept full responsibility for inflicting on myself. I grew a lot personally during that 2 year closure & realized I missed parts of it. Making things with my hands has always been my main superpower in this life & I had the realization that there was nothing else I'd rather be doing. Equal parts stubbornness, patience, perseverance & an eye for detail make me a perfect candidate for making you really high quality & functional goods. The process of burning the old + rebuilding the new was highly inconvenient but real growth usually is. Sometimes you need to toss a match (not literally!) on the stuff that is suffocating you & sift thru the ashes to build an even more aligned version. I wouldn't change a thing. Golden Hour is similar to Tbird Leather but this time around I only sell in-person (for now) & only make small batches of my core best-selling items then spend the rest of my time focused on making one of a kind items. It keeps my mind fresh & inspired. I also have another job that takes some of the pressure to create all the time off of me. So far it has been a liberating recipe.
